Chip Miller was a founder of Carlisle Events in 1974. In 2004, the Carlisle Events family suffered an astronomical loss as he lost his battle to a rare disease called Amyloidosis. As a means to further his legacy, the Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation recently announced the creation and implementation of a NEW automotive focused scholarship. The scholarship is designed to support the next generation of students who share Chip’s love for all things automotive and is open to any high school, undergraduate, graduate, or trade school student pursuing a career in the automotive field. The application process for the first Chip Miller Memorial Scholarship award opens in December, with a submission deadline of April 30, 2025. There will be multiple $1,000 award winners as part of the May 30, 2025 announcement. Criteria include ambition, drive, and passion for the automotive hobby. To apply, candidates can submit their stories/application to the CMAF by way of ChipMiller.org starting December 1. In the meantime, to learn more or donate to the scholarship fund, visit ChipMiller.org and/or e-mail Jodi Morrison at JodiM@CarlisleEvents.com. Good luck, we're excited to review all of the submissions that come in!
